Kill Process for Windows Mobile / Pocket PC

Lately i was working on Windows CE process view and way to kill particuler process in WIndows Mobile. Interestly there is "Running Programs" option available uder Start -> Settings -> System -> Memory -> Running programs but unfortunately it does not show all system related / critical processes running, so ihave decided to comeup with my own Kill Process application. Kernel32.lib Steps: 1. Take snapshot of currently executing processes in the system using API "CreateToolhelp32Snapshot" which returns a handle to the snapshot for further usage 2. People in USA - Credit Score ,Facts & tips

I thought of sharing this useful information to all buddies who are in USA and concerned about Credit score. As you all now that Credit score play major role in USA. Let me explain you what is "Credit score" - A credit score is a numerical expression based on a statistical analysis of a person's credit files, to represent the credit worthiness of that person, which is the perceived likelihood that the person will pay debts in a timely manner. A credit score is primarily based on credit report information, typically sourced from credit bureaus / credit reference agencies. Lenders, such as banks and credit card companies , use credit scores to evaluate the potential risk posed by lending money to consumers and to mitigate losses due to bad debt. Lenders use credit scores to determine who qualifies for a loan, at what interest rate , and what credit limits. The use of credit or identity scoring prior to authorizing access or granting credit is an implementation of a tru...

Updated Designed for Windows Mobile Program Handbooks available

In order to use the “Designed For Windows Mobile” logo in your marketing material your application must be submitted and pass a battery of tests perscribed by Microsoft. The newly revised handbooks that cover applications for the new “Designed For Windows Mobile 6″ logo(s) are now available for download. Designed for Windows Mobile 6 Professional Software Application handbook Designed for Windows Mobile 6 Standard Software Application handbook On an initial flick through the handbooks there doesn’t appear to be many significant changes. However Microsoft has got more perscriptive in some areas such as deployment options for MFC based applications (which must be statically linked for logo certification). If you’re starting out in Windows Mobile development these handbooks are a great guide for creating applications which have a native look and feel to them. I encourage every developer to strive (where possible) to make their applications as compatible with the “Designed For Windows...

Windows Mobile 6.1 to be announced on April 1?

Hey hey it is not kind of April fool joke and dodgy news. But word is that Microsoft will be launching its rumored update to its Window Mobile 6 operating system on April Fool's Day, regardless of the implications, and which coincidentally (or not) is also the first day of the CTIA Wireless tradeshow in Las Vegas. According to a report on Pocket-lint, Windows Mobile 6.1 is designed as the temporary upgrade solution for Windows Mobile handheld users before version 7 is introduced. The former will offer several enhancements over the Windows Mobile 6 version which debuted in February 2007, including a cleaner user interface, new homescreen, task manager and the ability to copy-and-paste in Internet Explorer.
