iPhone Development on Windows XP / Vista

Few days back i have decided to burn my hands with iPhone Application development and googled around apple website. I was utterly disappointed by the fact that i would need Mac OS to develop iPhone application using iPhone SDK from Apple. I felt awful about this fact and cursed Apple for not providing SDK for Windows OS. ( But i think i need to understand that Apple wants to increase their MacOS sales with help of iPhone popularity ).

Having said that there is NO iPhone SDK available for Windows i started searching Net for iPhone Dev on Windows and i happened to come across following USEFUL website.

I still need to explore. You may want to try this tool if you are interested in iPhone app development on Windows PC.

Dear Prasad, I've encountered similar problems in the past and from my findings, you can download a PearPC and configure your Windows machine to work like Mac OS X. But I'm not sure if you can use PearPC Mac OS to develop applications on iPhone. I'm working in iPhone dev team. Let me know if you need any help. Cheers, Amit

What is the Current Directory in Windows CE & Windows Mobile ?

Lately i encountered  a situation where i had to find the current directory from where my application is running and all my config files reside. Question is "How do I find the current directory?" on Windows CE/Mobile devices. Desktop / PC it is just piece of cake but Windows CE / Mobile devices don't have a concept of a current directory.  Which means all pats are absolute and there is no concept called relative path. Due to lack of relative paths most of the files are loaded to the "Windows" directory and that is how Windows directory is crowded. Alternatively you can hard code directory path and insist user to load files always there. But i hate to hard code values or copy files to Windows directory.  So this has triggered to find a solution to identify my current directory.
